PRE Corporate chair
PRE Corporate Chair position is currently held by Ing. Mgr. Miroslav Zajíček, MA, PhD.
I am an economist specializing on financial markets, energy economics and economic history / institutional economics.
I received my PhD from the Charles University in 2012. I also hold a MA in Economics from the University of Chicago. My present research covers several areas of modern economics: ranging from auction theory and experimental financial markets through energy markets to effects of institutional change on economic outcomes. In my previous research I analyzed the effects of introduction of subsidies for renewable energy resources, worked as a member of the advisory committee of the Chairman of the Energy regulatory Office and also ran a private consulting company. I presented my research at numerous international conferences such as ESA, M-BEES, WEHC etc. I founded the Laboratory of experimental economics (an up-to-date research facility for experimental economics) in 2009. From 2012 I am a Chairman of the Department of institutional economics (from 2015 renamed as the Department of institutional, environmental and experimental economics).
